cut off the cats claws and it will avoid you and anything that smells like you be careful when you snip its claws, though - you need to make sure you clip off all of that cloudy pink portion inside of the claw, otherwise it's ineffective

or maybe if you have an older cat and you get a really really young kitten that hasnt developed its hissing instinct around strangers yet, then the rules are out the window because really young kittens set off weird behaviors in adult cats. they either hate it to death or they turn into moms that choose Jiff

a couple years ago my cat had a litter of kittens and i discovered that there is nothing better in nature than seeing a mother cat carry kittens around its the best thing

literally every day i do something mean to my cat yet every morning i wake up and she's sleeping in a ball next to my head despite the living room being much warmer so the moral here is throw cats in snow or drip water on them to confuse them er'ry day
