my cat, he is 19 and has been bitten by coyotes 2 times 8(

i know hes not very pretty anymore, but he got nice with age and has always had a lot of character. a chatty catty

thnx for honoring my catte. he is honored every day with lots of food (eats a LOT) and petting, but not too much petting he doesn't like too much. He drinks out of his own human water glass in the morning in the den, where the sun comes through the window. treated well :3:

a few pages ago i posted my old catte, ricky, age 19. back in the day he was a spry cat who killed many animal. bird, mouse, snake. he lives at the folks house in the hollywood hills so there are many small animal to prey on. here are some of his feasts i recorded in my youth. sorry for the poor resolution, they are old pics.

well, my cat had a medical thing happen to him. vet did a housecall and said it could have been a kitty stroke. could be a tumor. could be kidney failure, whatever. any host of old cat illnesses. Ricky is 19 and really, really hated the vet. Anyways, after a family discussion we figured there's no way to extend that poor kitties life and he's not in pain so we're gonna let em live out the rest of his days without dragging him to the cold sterile smells-weird vet.

He's looking better today. I wasn't really all that stoked about getting a "cat sick" text from mom yesterday. Glad to see he's better today. He's lived a long rear end life and shoulda been dead 100x over; what being an indoor-outdoor cat in the coyote-infested hills.

He's always been really thin, but he's started shedding what little weight he had about 6 months ago.

Anyways, he's my #1 lil friend :3:

and i love him forever.

still alive, surprisingly.

can't believe i lured this lil dood in ~15 years ago with milk and bologna

nerda's probably going to be saying goodbye soon, she's 19 and seems to be having some kidney trouble. she's had a really good run for a kitten we never intended to keep in the first place

welp, got a text from dad today saying mr ricky was finally dying. 19 years on this gay earth and he has finally decided to relinquish his his reign of terror. over his life he has killed many creatures. bids, rats, mice, snakes, bugs. maybe some other things. idk. he died on the couch where he usually sits with dad. the tv was on, as hes accustomed to. me and dad satw ith him for a few hours, and then he slipped away. we pet him as he died. and then, we wept.

you survived 19 years in the coyote infested hills. you outlived all the neighboorhood cats. somehow, you, the nuts mean cat that would leave for days on end and claw the neighbors - outlived them all by at least a third of their lives. you endured a coyote bite to the head. a savage beating by some giant cat-panther hybrid monster. you beat them all, and died on your terms.
