I just checked the USPS website. Basically, I can ship (uninsured) to australia for about $25 for up to 2 pounds of stuff. If its 3 pounds, its about 35 bux, 4 pounds is about $50.

So, if you want, hit up my store, let me know what you want, Ill weight it and give you a real shipping price and then we can do some business!

You lied to me Broham! I am literally angry with rage! :argh:

Nah, I'm joking. If any Aussies do go in for a group order, hit me up with a pm or something.

So I'm going to be starting a Wood Elf army soon, and I want to paint them with all bright colours everywhere. Can anyone suggest a white primer that a) isn't poo poo, and b) is available in Australia for only a mildly exorbitant price?

Go to Bunnings, or similar hardware stores. White Knight Flat White should do the trick, and is like $6-7 a can.

Hey Bachtere (if you read this thread),

those knights you ordered from Gamezone? How were they compared to the pictures on the website? Any loss of detail or anything?

Cheers.

So after spending the weekend shoveling dirt around in the sun instead of playing with little plastic mans, we finally went down too a couple of stores to look for some gesso and sprays to experiment with. Good news everyone! in Aus, Bunnings carries Gesso for like $10 a pot and we picked up some $9 spray cans. I tried out the cheap matte black spray from White Knight and it worked like a charm, even though it is like 200 million percent humidity here at the moment I had no dramas at all, I am really chuffed it went on better than GW stuff. Will muck about with the gesso later in the week when I get a spare night.

IF you ever go to use a white spray, avoid White Knight's. I've had two ans, and both have ended up loving up on me. Paint splattering rather than spraying out of the can on to your models is not fun.

Their black is solid as though, probably our equivalent to Krylon as far as availability goes.

The greatest secret of all, I can't really remember.

It was Chardon Granite base, then maybe Troll Blood Highlight mixed in for the successive highlights. But Chardon plus any lighter grey should get you in the ball park.

Cheers, thanks!

Fake edit: For some actual content, I read some people talking about conversions for a Necrolith Colossus on another forum. They were thinking a Necrosphonx torso on a Trygon body. Would that look any good, as I'm sorely tempted to try it.

Do you think it'll work good once I start on the Crisis Suits and Broadsides? Or even tanks? Ugh.

This is pretty identical to the scheme I used on my IG. On infantry it looks good, but I painted up a sentinel and it all kinda blurred together.

I think you could make it work, either by adding some bold highlights, or breaking it up with another colour (almost pure white, maybe?) in some of the more common Tau markings.
