I'm looking for that awesome (and disgusting) converted and painted Tervigon that looked like it was actively birthing a brood (it was all glossy and birthy and nasty). I think it had a "girls" sign as part of the terrain it was modeled on? Anyone know where I can find that picture? I think it was on this thread somewhere, but I couldn't find it when I went back, and no luck on GIS. :( Help?

Help please?

Quick modeling/modification question:

How would you guys best kit-bash a "counts-as" Vulkan He'Stan for a non-Salamanders army?

It would be easy to do if he were in terminator armor, but it's harder to properly find a good way to bash one together with available power-armor models. :(

Wanted to share these with you guys...

My custom commander for my Imperial Fists army (a counts-as Vulkan He'Stan):

And my chapter's Librarian:

..........

Both were painted by Matt Susalka, who did a beautiful job with these two pieces (as he does with all of his stuff, really). The NMM on that red sword is incredible IRL. Really fantastic work.

He used Paint Vagrant's recipe for Imperial Fists yellow, which is the best recipe I've seen for that chapter to date.

Let me know what you guys think!

Those guys are sweet as. That yellow is the bee's knees. What was used for the packpack? And your Librarian kind of looks like Don Cheadle, and that's all right with me.

Thanks!

The whole torso is a non-GW kit... some sort of roman commander bust or something.

The flamer's fuel tank on his back was hand-sculpted by the artist. He just made it out of green stuff I think.

And ya, he does look like Don Cheadle... I'll call him Don on the field from now on. :D
