Proposed Budget: $14-$17K New or Used: Used Body Style: Sedan or a hatchback. Either will work. How will you be using the car?: Primarily commuting, it's not a super long commute and I'll be hauling a couple of tool boxes around. Nothing too major. Longer road trips in the spring and summertime, so decent fuel economy is a must. What aspects are most important to you?: I like to keep my cars for a long time, so reliability is pretty high up on the list for me. I'm about 6'2" so nothing too squeezed and awkward would be nice as well. I've been looking at the Mazda 3 I live in Ontario so we get a lot of salt in the winter time and I'm concerned about rust. A lot of the older 3's I see have a ton of rust around the rear wheel well, is this an issue with the newer models?
