I posted this either in AI or Cycle Asylum a while back: Was learning a bit about fixing my first motorbike, the mechanic suggested we change out the old chain for a new one. Chinese quality got me about 25kms, after I got it back to the shop we put the old chain back in and it kept chuggin' for the next 3-4 weeks of the trip. Never found the pieces of the transmission case, they flew off into the jungle never to be seen again
