4 years quit here, and I posted in a thread just like this right when I decided to do it. It's not as hard as you would imagine guys, especially if you get past the first couple of weeks. My advice is to start exercising as soon as possible, and try to cut back on your drinking for at least the first month. I did it cold turkey by just convincing myself I didn't really need that cigarette and everything within me saying I did was just loving lying. My quality of life has improved so much since I quit.
