This is the absolute truth. I'm going through the quitting process now and it's always brutal, but not as tough as I thought it would be. It's pretty amazing how much easier it is to NOT smoke when there are no cigarettes around. I use the lozenge and have one or two of those a day. It takes the edge off and the mint ones taste quite nice. A few pieces of advice: 1. Try not to hang around with smokers for a while 2. Date someone who doesn't smoke 3. Break all of your old cigarette habits (this is actually a great starting point. If you have one first thing in the morning, have one a few hours later or something...anything to break your normal habits). 4. Don't drink.
