I used to play a MUD called Darkness Falls back in the old AOL days.
You played as various monsters. I didn't like it because I couldn't type worth poo poo back then and always died when I tried to fight anything. I don't know if it was before graphical interfaces, or that I was playing on a PowerMac and that kind of stuff wasn't available. I've heard that it was an awesome mud as muds go though.
