Mustard Pimp is coming to Vegas June 11th, I was trying to get a spot in there since last month when Designer Drugs came they we're picking up random bad trance DJs because the other 'resident' Djs were out of town/couldn't make it.

There's always next time :)

Woo more spam though nowhere near as awesome as MB's :(

Got a remix in a remix contest at the moment, it's of Metric - Sick Muse and it's sitting in 28th place right now, which is especially disheartening seeing as the #1 sounds like loving j-pop, third place I think is just the original with a house loop behind it, and 6th is like a disney love song version.

Motherfuck that.

Just wanted to let you know your remix is the bee's knees :) gave you a vote

Felguk - Side by Side Uppermost remix, this sounds INSANE on a club system. Didn't know he did dubstep too.

MrSargent posted:

I feel bad that the first track I posted was that uppermost track because I didn't know that was dubstep. It really isn't like all of the other music I have listened to which is definitely more electro and house music. My second link had some mixes that a friend of mine did but I didn't get any feedback about them and I think they are much closer to what this thread is about. He is relatively new into DJing but I enjoyed his mixes. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Here is the link again:

I would tell him to practice more and lay off the loop button. Get your mixing down pat then start getting creative.

Always wanted to check out Control @ Avalon when I lived in SoCal. Control is held on Fridays. My buddy here from Vegas Lightknife played with PeaceTreaty and Felguk this past Friday. They regularly have big names like Dada Life, Porter Robinson, Wolfgang Gartner, and Major Lazer go through. ///BONES who runs Gottadancedirty regularly headlines there too.

Metropolis - Trust In The 'M' Machine

My friend found this trailer.

incredible sound (crunch!) and incredible visuals too

I can't find anything about these guys, never heard of them, I guess they may be new? Any information would be helpful, I'm super excited, must find moar!

First time I heard of Metropolis was in Peacetreaty's CONTROL mixtape from last year, they had the track named 'Trafalgar (demo version)' in there, which was apparently an early version of Trust The M Machine. Someone then said in the comments that it was Pance Party, didn't hear about it until just yesterday.

Early version of the song starts at 10m 20sec. Honestly I prefer the early version.

Alright whos at edc? All my friends are working production and been posting pictures of the build for the last week from this thing. The setup is huge (like a condense Disneyland for etards).

It is definitely amazing. There are at least 5 stages, all with very over-the-top lights and LED screens. The only stage they kinda skimped on was the BassPod, it's just a a huge metal circle with an LED wall behind it, some strobes and a giant pirate boat next to the stage that fills up with performers every once in a while. They're all great though.

I managed to snag the first 20 minutes of Skrillex and about 15 minutes of Porter Robinson on front row

My buddy Bryan and Dave Nada got together to form a moombahton massive here in Vegas. Munchi, Heartbreak, Dillon Francis, and Nadastrom for the headliners. I'm gonna smoke dmt with DF :smugdog:

Also I know I'm going to get torn a new rear end in a top hat and laughed at, but constructive criticism for my brolectro house track:

On a serious note I'm trying to get better and I want to make awesome music like Melee Beats.

Why is this even a thing? Dude hasn't done anything groundbreaking or really interesting at all

I can't really think of other producers more interesting than him other than M Machine. Kid is barely out of high school and has had a Beatport #1 track, Beatport & itunes #1 chart release (Spitfire EP), and not to mention playing EDC + numerous other festivals and clubs. I envy the gently caress out of his incredible success.
