I am by and by a huge fan of this thread. I am loving this track so much.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VQTVR_4JUQ Phoenix remixes tend to be amazing, the Classixx remix was also one of my fav rmxs to date.

BTW, I am sure you are already using it, but Pandora does an amazing job of finding good and relatively new music. Not too much bloghouse, but if it has been released, it usually finds a pretty good match.

God I love DIGITALLY IMPORTED's Electro House station. Such gems come up every once in a while such as
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxhJWr-x7U0
and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isdx_KYWlHI

Both are relatively nonamed in my book but both tracks bang harder than hard.

compared to what? pretty boring snore-fest if you ask me.

WHO ASKED YOU? ... just joking, it is a little trancy but it gets me going. most of the stuff of DI.fm is a little more on the house side and repetitive as all gently caress, but they don't group Deadmau5 into the station which gives them my stamp of approval.

for the record, Bmore club music is ultra repetitive drum and bass/house music that has one phrase repeated over and over again ad nauseum. It offically died when Kswift dove into the shallow end on XTC and died. It stopped getting airtime when go-go came out. Nowadays its all go-go and "jerk" music. :(

Also, HARDNYC seems good, but ultra music festival will be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay sweeter. http://www.ultramusicfestival.com/ the line up will shatter souls and ear drums

What's the scene like in Washington DC? I just got accepted to the IR school at GWU and depending on some other acceptances I'm probably going there.

U Hall is pretty good for getting good music in. There is a decent scene for the most part. Don't expect Webster Hall or anything, but still, some good stuff comes through.

OMG, new Computers Want Me Dead! I <3 their New Zealand-ish electropop style.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29bZHfMvjvw (In your Blood, so melodic and depressingly good)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65Qi4nckSwg (their new track, a little bit poppier, but still electropoppingly catchy and delicious)

Jack Beats tomorrow in Baltimore... super excited! If he drops the Little Secrets remix, I might die. A happy man, but I still will die.

Wowwwww. Jack Beats brought it. When they opened with their Remix of Little Secrets, I almost exploded. So good, a lot of fidget house, but I was thoroughly enjoying it.

Siriusmo at his finest right here. I am a fan of most of his stuff... but this is totally different than most of his stuff IMHO.

gently caress. Yes. Lil Silva has been gaining a lot of my attention. Anything on Night Slugs appears to be a golden hit, but Night Skankers EP is amazing.

Oh yeah, Banana Ripple was amazing when it leaked. The rest of the album is good, but I dance to that single on the regular.

PS, if you aren't familiar with Futurecop!, time to get familiar.

Both new singles are just terrible. I have a feeling that this album will be a disaster.

I liked Youth in Trouble, but I cannot get behind this... I hope they aren't going the way of Modular People and super hippie jammed out.

Is anyone still doing that DFA Records sound? LCD Soundsystem, !!!, Out Hud, Holy gently caress, SBTRKT, The Juan MacLean are the kinds of guys I'm talking about. I tried listening to that AC Slater stuff but it was waaaay too trancey for me, I'm looking more for stuff on the organic disco side.

Check out Four Tet's newest foray, Pink. I love Locked a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lNJ-FoyZRE

I know the preview was posted... but the new Boys Noize album is streaming. Reality and Stop are absolutely fire. Some tracks are so-so, but these two give me goosebumps!
