Metroixer posted:Just another quick question, everyone at ultra went crazy for deadmau5 doing one more song. It really looked like he was gonna do it too with smoke and lights just blasting on, then after some stalling they turned off again, what was up with that? Apparently the city of Miami did not let the organizers keep going.

The same club has Hot Natured, Art vs. Science, Scuba, Steffi, Marcel Dettman, Guy Gerber, Moodymann, Maceo Plex, Art Department, and Onur Ozer coming in the next few months, toooo much partying. Also Visionquest next week. There really is too much partying going on and I can't stop finding myself at that club. Hot Natured is gonna be sweet.

Here are some sets from M_nus' Boiler Room Amsterdam takeover. Richie Hawtin's set is loving cool. I'm currently listening to Dubfire's. Ambivalent's should also be very good, more on the Techno side of things. Seth Troxler also played during BR, but his set isn't up. I still regularly play Hawtin's WMC set, which if you haven't heard you really need to check out... That's cool dude, where do you spin? A good crowd for this type of music (well any) is essential. Lot's of people don't 'get' this type of music, as if they were expecting some "hands in the air" Guetta poo poo. Thankfully people are educated around these parts and always make parties extra awesome.

Saw Bacchetti and Buttrich last night. Bacchetti was very good with his pounding basslines and very Latin influenced house. Buttrich took it straight to Detroit, that place got DARK real quick. I was able to catch live about 70% of the top 10 and a lot of the top 100 this year. I think Maceo Plex should have been higher. All I hear from Villalobos is how hosed up he is all the time and not enough about his music.
