There's a lot of great stuff in this thread, I've found a ton of new artists to keep my eye on.

However, I'm looking for a recommendation. I'm holding a dance party in my room tomorrow night and I've been searching for a great mix to blast for people to to. For reference, I'm looking for something along the lines of Hervé's Ghetto Bass mix (the first hour, not the dubstep hour), but I'm open to other styles as well.

Any suggestions?

Fatboy Slim came out with a mix in early '09 called Dance Bitch that's got a lot of Herve on it. I'd also highly highly recommend Fake Blood's Essential Mix.

I dunno, I use "Electronica" to describe the genre as a whole. If someone knows what I'm talking about, I'll specify house or trance or dubstep or whatever.

And if it's a category in the Grammys that lumps Crystal Method, Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys, and LMFAO (none of which are related musically at all), I think Electronica's the right term...
