Tried the demo and can confirm that it's fun. It plays basically just like Megaman Zero (plus divekicks) and isn't shy about it, and the highway stage in the demo is clearly very heavily inspired by the first stage of Megaman X.

There is a small but dedicated Megaman youtubing community and yeah a number of them use their own Reploid OC as a vtubing model and it doesn't look out of place at all.

I was okay with Mega Man being dead after 10, which was aggressively mid with weird gimmicky weapons that often sucked, but it’s kind of a shame after 11 felt like someone trying to advance the series in a meaningful way on top of just feeling great in a lot of ways with the Gears and weapons being a good mix of powerful lateral options to the Buster and utility.

The BN collection did crazy well and I think some extension of the BN/Star Force line is more likely than anything else. I wonder how the Zero/ZX collection ended up doing relative to the others... I thought general brand inertia, plus there being a lot of people who never played any of the handheld games, would push it pretty far, but I heard so little about it post-launch that I get the impression it wasn't nearly as popular as the other collections.
