I still say the best use of wrestlers in video games is to use their characters and mannerisms in non-wrestling stuff. John Cena vs Ninjas. Samoa Joe dresses like a princess and slam dunks on people. Okada rainmakering entire armies.

The only things I remember:

The Natural Born Thrillers was a stable of 6 of the same person who couldn't wrestle and couldn't talk. And roughly half of every show was devoted to them.
There was way more Shane Douglas than you remember.
Mike Awesome power-bombed somebody on the roof of a the Partridge Family bus and then they fell over.
Rey Mysterio Jr. was loving around with Disco Inferno despite being the most talented worker in the company by several orders of magnitude (and this is coming from somebody who isn't even that into Rey).
