A toxic leader is a person who has responsibility over a group of people or an organization, and who abuses the leader–follower relationship by leaving the group or organization in a worse-off condition than when s/he first found them. The phrase was coined by Marcia Whicker in 1996 and is linked with a number of dysfunctional leadership styles.[1] Other names include the little Hitler, manager from hell, The Toxic Boss and boss from hell.[1]

The can, itself states: "... We had the folks at Monster make us one that didn't suck." It comes in a can that is decorated with a mural design in an attempt to appeal to extreme sports enthusiasts. This mural, itself bears a reference to Monster Energy, in the form of their 'M' logo worn as a tattoo on the ankle of the island girl pictured on the front of the red, 'Lost Energy' can.

In an October 2010 article for The Guardian, Jon Ronson characterized the Insane Clown Posse as "evangelical Christians" who have "only been pretending to be brutal and sadistic to trick their fans into believing in God."[8] In an interview with ICP conducted for the article, two of Ronson's queries referred parenthetically to ICP's "Christian message" and to the members' identities as "[secret] Christians." Several papers, including The Washington Post, published summaries of Ronson's claims.[21]

Eight days after publication of the Guardian article, Joseph Bruce tweeted "I think [it's] crazy how some press say we're a Christian band and act like we're all religious [...] I'm proud that we believe in God but I haven't been to church since I was like 10. I don't even know if [Utsler has] ever been to church!"[22][23][24] Christianity Today writer Mark Moring also challenged Ronson's characterization, writing that "The guys in ICP haven't used the word 'Christian' or 'evangelical' [...] so let's not call them anything that they're not claiming for themselves."[25]

In 2011, Insane Clown Posse appeared on Attack of the Show! and refuted claims that they were a Christian band.[26] Bruce explained that their Dark Carnival mythology "comes from the basic principle of right and wrong, you know; evil and good. That’s all. We’re just trying to say that there’s bad guys out there and that there’s good guys out there [...] We were taught there’s a heaven and a hell, but that’s all we were taught. We weren’t taught about the [Ten] Commandments [... or] what’s in the Bible and all that. We just [...] want to see good people hopefully go to heaven, which we refer to as Shangri-La."[26] Joseph Utsler explained in a 2002 interview with Craig Markley that "God is in your heart [...] In my definition, it doesn’t matter what creed, religion, or group you belong to. If you’re doing what’s right and are a good person, then you're right with God."[27] Bruce and Utsler have also stated that they are not certain that God and the afterlife exist, but that they'd like to believe that there is something after death.[19][20][28]

The first Apple Jacks mascot in the 1960s was "Apple Guy", a figure made from cutting a face onto an apple and applying a hat and pieces of cereal for eyes.

In the late 1960s the box depicted an "Apple Car" with pieces of cereal for wheels.

Around 1971, the official mascots became "The Apple Jacks Kids", a simplistically drawn animated boy and girl duo. The commercials featured the children singing and tumbling around. Their reign lasted for twenty-one years, making them the most well-known Apple Jacks mascots and most universally associated with the cereal in the public's memory. During this time, the Apple Jacks jingle became an integral part of the ad campaign: "A is for apple, J is for Jacks, Cinnamon-toasty Apple Jacks!" This campaign was retired in 1992.

Starting in 1992, there was an advertising campaign that featured children expressing their enjoyment of Apple Jacks, regardless of its lack of apple flavor. The slogan for this campaign became "We eat what we like". The shift toward marketing cereals directly at children signaled the growing recognition of children's influence on family purchases. The commercials took place in such normal kid hang-outs as the at school, garage, ballet class, the kitchen and such. After each commercial, the group of children would pose for a group Polaroid of the entire group.

As of 2004, the marketing mascots are a care-free Jamaican cinnamon stick named CinnaMon and an accident-prone apple named Bad Apple. Labeled as Apple Jacks Adventures in print advertising, the commercials focus on CinnaMon upstaging Bad Apple by reaching a bowl of Apple Jacks before he can, in spite of the apple's attempts to stop him. Due to legal troubles, Bad Apple's antagonistic nature was dropped; Apple and CinnaMon were then portrayed as highly competitive friends, both getting into the bowl. The campaign was slated to be retired in 2007, and replaced by a retread of the 1990s campaign focused on children, but fan response to Apple and CinnaMon helped them remain as the mascots. In 2007, Apple and Cinnamon were fused together with Cinnamon sticking through the center of Apple with both of their legs at the bottom of their body. They remained this way for a few of the commercials until they became unstuck by a special machine. In 2009, Apple and Cinnamon were transported out of their cartoon world to the real world of New York City, where they continue to race each other to the bowl where they would enter the bowl at the same time.

The criticisms of Mythic Fantasy Role-playing Game being "overly complex" and "racist" come from biased sources. In fact, the Dangerous Minds article quotes the MetalSucks source. MetalSucks writers often publish unfair critical articles on Vikernes; it is not a neutral website.

The versine[1][2][3][4][5] or versed sine[3][6][7][8][9] is a trigonometric function already appearing in some of the earliest trigonometric tables. It is written as versin(θ),[3][7][8] sinver(θ),[10][11] vers(θ),[1][2][3][4][5][6] ver(θ)[12] or siv(θ).[13][14] In Latin, it is known as the sinus versus[13][14] (flipped sine), versinus, versus or the sagitta (arrow).

Expressed in terms of the meanwhile more commonly used "vertical" sines (sinus rectus) and cosines (cosinus rectus) functions, the versine is equal to 1 − cos(θ), or 2 sin2(θ/2).

There are several related functions corresponding to the versine:

The versed cosine,[15][nb 1] or vercosine,[15][nb 1] written vercosin(θ), vercos(θ)[15] or vcs(θ)[12]
The coversed sine,[nb 1] coversine,[2][4][5][7][8][16] cosinus versus[13][14][nb 1] or coversinus, written coversin(θ),[17] covers(θ),[2][4][5][6][11][16][18][19][20] cosiv(θ)[13][14][nb 1] or cvs(θ)[8][11][12][21]
The coversed cosine[22] or covercosine,[22] written covercosin(θ) or covercos(θ)[22] or cvc(θ)[12]

In full analogy to the above-mentioned four functions another set of four "half-value" functions exists as well:

The haversed sine,[23] haversine[1][2][4][5][6][7][23] or semiversus,[24][25] written haversin(θ), semiversin(θ), semiversinus(θ), havers(θ),[1] hav(θ),[1][2][4][5][6][11][12][23][26][27] hvs(θ),[nb 2] sem(θ)[25] or hv(θ),[28] most famous from the haversine formula used historically in navigation
The haversed cosine[29] or havercosine,[29] written havercosin(θ), havercos(θ),[29] hac(θ) or hvc(θ)[12]
The hacoversed sine,[17] also called hacoversine[17] or cohaversine[17] and written hacoversin(θ),[17] semicoversin(θ), hacovers(θ), hacov(θ)[30] or hcv(θ)[12]
The hacoversed cosine,[31] also called hacovercosine[31] or cohavercosine[31] and written hacovercosin(θ), hacovercos(θ)[31] or hcc(θ)[12]

There have been four offshoots of the cereal: French Toast Crunch in 1995 and again in 2015, Peanut Butter Toast Crunch in 2004 And 2013, Frosted Toast Crunch in 2012, And Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch for the 2014 Holiday season. French Toast Crunch is shaped like many little French toast slices, reminiscent of the style of Cookie Crisp. It was discontinued in 2006, but made a return in 2015 due to its cult popularity among its fans.[2] Peanut Butter Toast Crunch was a cereal consisting of flakes similar but darker to Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Frosted Toast Crunch resembles Cinnamon Toast Crunch with vanilla coating. This cereal was discontinued by 2006.[citation needed] As another offshoot, Monopoly Cereal was a limited edition product created in April 2003 by General Mills. The cereal was like Cinnamon Toast Crunch but with the addition of marshmallows based on the pieces in the Monopoly game, such as houses and hotels. Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch was like Cinnamon Toast Crunch except with a sugar cookie taste.
