Here's a better copy of Zoo: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/zoo/ Oh, right, a synopsis. Zoo is a controversial, 'critically-acclaimed' documentary about the death of Kevin Pinyan (aka Mr. Hands) and the zoophilia subculture he was involved in. An elegant and informative film about a man getting raped to death by a horse. Miss Areola Canasta fucked around with this message at 04:24 on Feb 24, 2010 |

Food, Inc. is chock-full of statistics about factory farming. Highly recommended. http://www.netflix.com/WiSearch?v1=Food,%20Inc.&oq=food,%20inc Kara Thrace posted:Dude, it's like the second post on the first page. Well, they asked for a documentary that illustrated the industry standard and gave hard numbers instead of just visceral footage. So that's the one they should watch. It's transformed from a student project into my debut documentary: Bravo. Thank you for sharing this with us. I thought it was beautiful. I'm sending it to my extended family in Florida. I have a request. I saw a documentary forever ago called Fat Girls and Feeders - about 'fat admirers' and those awful men who stuff their wives like foie gras ducks until they're immobile blobs. Can anyone find a streaming copy? e: here's a picture of the movie's featured couple

Blacknose posted:A Blank on the Map Awesome documentary. It doesn't just provide a good story, but it raises interesting moral questions. Is the expedition fueled by belevolence or ethnocentrism? Part of me feels cultures like this should be left alone. It's great the explorers were able to provide simple medical care, but I'm sure that language is endangered now, their culture eroded by hegemony.

Hello Pity posted:And for some content David Modell's Young, Nazi and Proud... a fairly low-key, but interesting character piece on Mark Collett who was at the time leader of the youth wing of the BNP. [...] It's not too sensational but has a pretty funny "twist" at the end...

We hates the China! Hates it forever! The Dying Rooms Super-depressing British film about the female infanticide across social strata that's resulting from China's One Child policy, and the search for legendary rooms in overpacked orphanages where baby girls are abandoned and left to die.
