Batman Beyond was a pretty solid show, not as good as TAS or Brave and the Bold but it was still good. I believe they recently started up a comic book series or mini-series for it.

I prefer Beyond to Brave and the Bold. BB fits well within the overall tone and feel of the DCAU (which I'm a fan of), but BatB always felt a bit goofy to me.

God dammit, I want High School Batman to be a real cartoon. I mean, it would be a terrible, ridiculous thing, but I still want to see it. (Ra's Al Ghul for principal, Deathstroke as sadistic gym teacher, one of the little Robins makes a cameo as a 1st grader Bruce rescues from a bully...it just writes itself, really)

It's like a throwback to old comic book TV shows / cartoons and also the old team up specials that DC used to do. High School Batman couldn't have been any worse than Spectacular Spider-Man. Which truly is so terrible you can't look away...but it's not good. What I *think* it means, is that the "artist" grabbed the "base" (aka a plain uncolored drawing by another "artist") and used it without remembering who made the "base". The original character (which is a term that's really starting to get on my nerves) is basically just some extra lines and the paintbucket tool in MSPaint.

That batman highschool thing looks awesome, but then again i'm a sucker for poo poo like that. I loved Batmen Beyond. The whole diniverse is really good, but I could never get into justice league or any of that since, well, there's just so many goddamn heroes. you get all these ridiculous people flying around and bleh. I dunno.

That Batman Highschool thing would've been every inch as unwatchably terrible as TAS was classic. Wouldn't Mr. Freeze just be some kid, pre-accident? Would they push back his origin story to getting dumped Freshman year and swallowing a gallon of liquid nitrogen?Not A Gay Name posted:Edit: Nice.
