I can't find it, but I used to have a drawing of Steve Irwin getting sucked off by a stingray while it was piercing his heart. He seemed to be enjoying it.

Edit: found it

1-That's a really well made plush.
2-Holy gently caress, that final bid. :stare:
3-I gotta learn how to sew.

A goon who posts in the Plush Thread makes these and auctions them off for ridiculous amounts of money. So jealous.

Like anime, Disney is used by bad artists all over the world because making up your own style means you actually have to understand what you're doing and that's hard.

I dunno, something about a South African artist doing a heroic portrait of Ron Paul struck me as a bit strange.

People abroad are pretty aware of American politics (very much so in Europe at least) plus Ron Paul's ideas appeal to a very wide range of idiots. I don't know whether I'm just unlucky or what but I know a significant amount of people who have decided that both parties are too retarded and evil to bother with but that Ron Paul fellow, he has the right idea :ughh:

I don't know. The other stuff is definitely better and more interesting, but there's something kind of satisfying about the legacy of the Third Reich being gay porn drawn by Russians.

If I had a time machine, I'd love to rub this in Hitler's face right before he died. You know, not shoot him or anything, that's too violent for my blood, but just be like "neener neener check out this drawing of you touching Goering's butt."

To be fair, Phobs does seem to be aware of the dangers of fangirlism. She made several comics making fun of fangirls, especially Hetalia fans. Besides: her designs are so pretty, if all gay nazi fanart looked like that I might just consider becoming a fangirl. :swoon:

I don't know if it's exactly related, but from people from Scandinavia I know, cursing in English is popular because the curses just feel more impactful! There's just something about 'gently caress' that carries an impact that transcends language.

I think 'gently caress' and 'poo poo' are pretty much universal by now, they're frequently used everywhere in Europe at least.

There is a cycle of allegorical fables about a trickster fox called Reynard (who tricks the animals in the forest by using their own weaknesses against them) which was so famous and widely spread that it still influences a lot of our cultural perceptions about animals today: foxes are cunning (also Robin Hood and Reynard are both outlaws), lions are the king of the forest, bears are greedy for honey etc. The middle picture above is actually a picture of Reynard being hung by a bunch of geese, I think for raping the queen. Lots of sex and gore in medieval literature. :)

You can read pretty much all of them online for free, they're pretty amazing :3:
http://bestiary.ca/etexts/morley1889/morley1889.htm

Edit: According to the Disney wiki some elements were actually taken from a production of Reynard the Fox which they never finished so definitely a yes.
