The into scenes also pretty much all reference some original paintings, it's really neat. I'm not generally a fan of this modern animation style but it grew on me, by the end I didn't mind at all. Also had to double take when I realized why Scrooge sounded so familiar, they cast the freaking Doctor.

Kind of reminds me of the failed thunder cats reboot, they set up some interesting stuff but also didn't really do anything with it for most of the season. Also from another thread cause it's spot on: maltesh posted:the Great Rebellion and the Evil Horde feel a lot more like rival high school sports teams than factions warring for the fate of the planet
