Fred V put out a new single but the B-side grabbed me more:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSWPTCVTvrs

Monrroe also dropped a new EP on Shogun. This tune :eyepop:

And last but not least, Killbox (Ed Rush + Audio) put out a completely fire new album last week but I missed it and am just now listening. This is going on my favorite albums of the year list, holy poo poo. One of the best DNB albums I've heard in quite some time.

e: Also Pendulum sent out an email saying their new EP contains the 3 singles they've already released plus the forthcoming one with Hybrid Minds, so I guess that answers that question.

Unless there's some sort of material exclusive to the EP that sounds like kind of a cop-out, doesn't it?

They haven’t all been in the same space for a while now. KJ Sawka lives in the states and has been recording his poo poo remotely. It’s not an optimal creative environment.

New Pendulum EP is out.

I think the only track of the 4 that I'm really sold on is Driver :smith: This is the release that's officially ending my thought that Pendulum can do no wrong. Oh well. At least Driver is pretty good and I hope they make more tunes like it in the future.

Imo Hold your Colour is Pendulum's only good album (and maybe a quarter of Immersion). I've bounced off of literally everything else they've put out.

I remember when 'Vault' dropped going 'what this is whack' then giving it a couple more listens and realizing oh this is huge and they went on that absolute loving tear culminating in 'Hold Your Colour' then they broke up and nobody knows what happened it's a shame really

And drat count me in on being asleep on the Killbox LP

Last week, Sub Focus put out a remix album called Reworks I that I'm just getting around to listening to. His debut album was huge for me (and many others in this thread, I'm sure) when it dropped in 2009, so hearing some of these tracks re-interpreted by fellow DNB artists is pretty cool. That Camo & Krooked & Mefjus one goes especially hard :eyepop:

OPERATIONS vol. 19 is live. This one is mostly heady 140 dubstep (but I'm posting it here anyway because that's fairly adjacent to D&B), with some weird twists and a strong drum & bass finish. Enjoy.

I listened to lot of progressive and tribal house at that time, when it was big, and then the progressive and nu-skool breaks kind of came out of nowhere. I definitely recommend Bedrock Breaks by DJ Hyper, I still listen to it pretty often even now. I really liked the Australian breaks stuff like Luke Chable and Phil K. The breaks disc from Phil K's balance 004 is pretty solid. I went to a three hour Phil K / Dave Seaman tag team in like 2003 and it was dope as hell

They do! I haven't been listening to their dnb or adjacent stuff lately, but the ambient channels have been good background music while working for the past few months.

I let my subscription lapse, but the free version is pretty light on ads.

My god, I just followed a bunch of channels and now I follow 32 of them :eyepop: No way I'm going to be able to listen to all of these in addition to the stuff I normally listen to every week, but it's nice to know I have the option!

I appreciate the breaks chat, definitely my first love being from Orlando and definitely has a lot of similarities with D&B and jungle. I'll share a few lesser known tracks too since there is no breaks chat and some recent D&B I've enjoyed.

I am in love with the way he freestyles. In a lot of ways it's really simplistic and minimal and I love it. This is the kid of Jungle/DnB I either remember growing up with or think I remember growing up with so it's always warms my heart to hear :)

Also while this is absolutely my goal, I have no illusions about getting to this level any time soon ;)
