There's 3 songs on there out of all of them that I would listen to. The rest of it is extremely throwaway. Only ones I dug were: Set me on fire, Island pt 2, and The Fountain. I realllllllllllly want to send rob an IM and tell them to get a new drum break to use because how loving lazy can you be to use the same break for 90% of your songs through 2 albums?

Actually The Fountain sounds like something that Hospital circa 07/08 would put out and imo it's the best track (DNB wise) on the entire album - really the only one worth talking about.

The DJ after me decided that he'd queue up his first record, then attempt to lift the needle off of mine mid-song. Imagine his surprise when he came away from the experience with a wounded ego and a sore hand; I slapped it as if he was reaching for a self-destruct button. Yea, I started out the mix with This Is LA because I moved from Philly to LA (with Sac, San Fran, and San Diego as temporary stops in between - granted all 3 of those happened within 1 year, but still) so I thought it was only appropriate to open with that. Originally I was going to start the mix with the Urban Takeover rmx of "Jungle Brother" by the Jungle Brothers, but decided against it last minute. I also ended with Ultrasonic Sound because it was the first drum and bass song I ever heard, and actually got me into the genre to begin with. I have a ton of other mixes up as well: http://www.1217design.com/blog and I've been uploading more and more of my older mixes here: http://www.mixcloud.com/djHelix/ I've got over 50-60 mixes that I've done that I'm going to be uploading to the mixcloud site - most of which were all done back between 2003 and 2008, and the large majority of which were all vinyl.
