Wow, after nearly 10 years break, Funkstorung is back. Monkeytown Records (Modeselektor, Mouse on Mars, Siriusmo) released a new album of theirs this month. Speaking from just listening to elseq 1 it's kind of in the exai/l-event vein in terms of sound design, and in terms of structure the tracks are based on a fairly straightforward but continuously evolving beat. Untilted is one of my favorite Autechre albums and I love elseq 1, but I also loved everything they released after untilted so maybe my opinion isn't really valuable lol
