I loved Monterey. Yeah, to get into the crazy  BABBYKILLRZ types you have to visit Santa Cruz and hang around my old alma mater for a while. Although even there you run into plenty of people who tend not to give a poo poo. Hell, my Russian History professor used to do guest lectures at the Postgraduate School.
