I really need to get a better storage system for my bricks. Currently they are inhabiting containers with a volume of ~300 gallons, completely unsorted. I've come up with the idea of building a table with drawers under it in which to store the pieces, now I just need to put my plan into action.

Wow, that's loving massive. Not a bad price, either, considering the size and piece count of the drat thing, even if there's a lot of smaller parts and regular bricks.

I would have been all about that as a kid. Also having the Saturn V on their shop but not being able to pre-order it is the worst tease ever.

Well, I guess the anticipation will only make it better, no stores around have it in stock and even though I pressed submit on an order last night it didn't go through. OH WELL. It will be the centerpiece of the new lego room in my new house.

I guess I would rather pick up something more visually interesting. I already have too many grey star wars ships on display.

The pictures don't do it justice. I've finished the first stage and the internals for the second. The amount of small details and just the overwhelming size at half finished makes it really impressive in person.

Destiny's Bounty is one of the best looking sets they have ever made. It looks like a piece of art almost. Like an actual junk model that you would display on the shelf. But it is lego. Not the greatest build but man does it look sweet when it is done.

Agreed. It's got some tedious build in it but when it's all put together it's beautiful. And for a kid it would be very fun to play with.

So, I have almost pulled the trigger on the Snowspeeder like 10 times now and figured I might grab it today so I can stop thinking about it haha. How do those of you that bought it feel about it? Does it fell worth $200 that price/part ratio is kind of bad. But Snowspeeder, probably my favorite SW ship next to the X-wing, which I already have so I can die happy with both.

There's a sale with double vip points coming up on the 1st I think. So maybe wait?

If the fishing store sells well they should make them. They'd be negligent not to. They are both nice, but I personally think they all look a little too similar. A more drastic selection of colors might be beneficial.

Dang, I figured they would have gone for that quest builder one. The Jeep would have been cool too. As for the next one, I agree with others that there is really nothing in there. Another Space Shuttle when they've already done 4 or 5 over the years. That Saturn V launch tower will never get made. Not only is it much larger than the Saturn V and require more pieces, and cost more, it is only interesting if you already have the Saturn V. Hopefully they will just say "we can't do any of these, so we will look into our missed favorites from previous cycles."

I'm really glad they are working with the people who did the Surf Rescue. That's what I would want out of Lego Ideas. Find people who get Lego and get them to help with the themes. Like they should just hire that guy that keeps doing medieval buildings and just do a series of his things instead of him keep submitting his ideas that will never get chosen.

I liked quest builder, it'd be fun for my D&D group. But I can also easily do it myself. That guy has also submitted a bunch of variations on it.
