FortCastle posted:This right here, I've probably listened to 15 different comedy podcasts and none come close to this Doug loves movies is one of my favorite podcast but there is a boring one here and there like the one with The Office co-stars. The new ep of ACS with Ed Bagley was pretty good as was the new bill burr mmpc 8-2-2010. I still haven't got into Comedy death ray as it seems to just be live improv.

HelterSkeletor posted:Everyone should check out the Marc Maron's WTF Podcast - The Carlos Mencia Episodes. It's as close as Mencia has come to admitting he's a joke thief. The first shocking thing we learn is that he literally bought a joke book on the way to his first gig. It's an intelligent, slow, interesting reveal that shakes Carlos up pretty badly. Makes for great listening. Defiantly follow that up with today's Joe Rogan podcast with Dane Cook which talks about that podcast.

soru posted:I used to really like Carolla's podcast and lately I find myself just skipping it every day unless he has some really amazing guest -- which is very rare. I didn't make a conscious effort to stop, he's just boring. It's the same thing every day. I'm having the same problem but what are you replacing it with?

Looks like Kevin Smith finally updated Smodcast, which now has a bunch of different shows instead of just one. I just finished the first one with Jason Mewes and it was really good so check em out. http://www.smodcast.com/

Doug really needs to find another place to do his podcast that won't limit him so much on time, that's were the frustration is really coming from.

Anyone who follows the Joe Rogan podcast should enjoy this. http://www.youtube.com/user/thealexjoneschannel?blend=1&ob=4#p/u/29/cEIV7Bl1cJA Joe and Eddie Bravo go on the Alex Jones show and are stoned out of their minds. I just cant get over how good a match a pair of potheads is with a conspiracy nut radio guy.

I don't regularly listen to WTF but the one with Louis CK is really amazing. The last five minutes of part two is so goddam it was hard to listen to.

A PRIZED MULE! posted:I'm so down with what you're saying. One of my biggest beefs with that show is that no matter who's on, Joe says the same poo poo OVER AND OVER. Other than that it's pretty fun, especially with Joey Coco Diaz of course. And Brian could carry his own show as weird as he is. I think other than Adam Carolla, Joe puts out more hours per week than any other comedy podcast and sometimes has new guests so its impossible for him to not repeat himself sometimes. Brian is kinda funny sometimes but I really love it when Joe yells at his goofy rear end for drifting off and browsing the web. He might be able to pull off a podcast on his own but his voice sounds like the most spergy WoW addict ever.

NecronSchmecron posted:I must say my opinion is the opposite of this. It was pretty boring for the most part. Scott should have gotten some people who can smoothly do improv if he's really so ill prepared. Pumping puss guy wasn't as bad as Halloween episode with Cyber thugs or whatever those guys where. I have skipped more CDR podcasts than any other but then again it let me hear the hobbit song by Leonard Nemoy.

He's actually not as much of a conspiracy theorist as I thought he was from his twitter posts, and I like his guests. I already loved his standup and this podcast is making him one of my favourite comedians overall I like him as well but he thinks the moon landings were faked after watching a special about it on fox(not the news one).

What? Carcast is very consistently only about cars and races and stuff unless this is a new one. Hell, on the episode with Peter North he didn't talk about porn at all, just automotive stuff. Carolla is still terrible though. Has his main podcast got any better over the months?
