As someone who used to watch Around the Horn every day and now catches it every now and then, Plaschke seems to have mellowed out. He used to have extremely offensive semi-racist sports opinions and came off the worst on a panel that included Jay Mariotti, but every time I've seen him in recent years his opinions don't seem that bad. I've never read anything he's written so I don't anything about that side of the coin though.
