Goons from the long ago, about... um... let's say... in 2000? 2001? In the original DPPH forums there was a girl called Miss M who used to post nude pictures of herself. This led to a lot of drama, as one might imagine, which intensified when it was discovered she was probably underage? Anyway, I say that all that just to jog your memory. The question I have is, she had said she wanted to get into porn. I'm wondering if she ever did, or if she went on to live a moral upstanding Christian life. Not that I want to seek her out like some stalker, I guess I'm just curious. This is definitely a weird question

Navigating to the land there was exceptionally challenging as there is nothing else really out there on the non-Australia side. Adding to that you get the full force of a lot of the Antarctic weather coming up at you it really doesn't make it easy when you're running on old school equipment.

It comes from the code Twitter generates for the forums and is not going away without custom code written for embeds. You can quote the post as suggested, strip the url yourself or just go to twitter and then click on the tweet again which will strip it for you. Writing a shell script to strip it would probably work too if you're so inclined.

I purchased applecare from apple. Should I have not gone to the apple store for a replacement? This seems like an easy way for them to get an extra $20 a month from me. Why are they charging you to swap phones, can't you just take your SIM out of one phone and put it in another? The carrier shouldn't have anything to do with this. Full disclosure I'm not from the USA and is how it would happen here.

Technically their finger would no longer hurt, but you know it's not the outcome they're actually looking for. It's more like being dummy thick and having your rear end cheeks clapping every time you moved. You can remove your rear end cheeks or stop moving but if you do neither of these then they're still gonna clap. So OP could stop posting or delete their account. Facebook is going to keep treating them as the product - because that is exactly what that they are - and avoiding Facebook is the best defence they have against that.

Kaiser Schnitzel posted:I'm a standard-issue goon with bad, very head-forward posture. Aside from 'quit phone posting' and 'remind yourself to stand/sit up straight all the time' are there any fix your posture lifehacks physical therapists hate I should know about? This is by no means going to be comprehensive a post but should hopefully get you on the right track. There are two main things going on with this. One a bunch of muscles around the spine are going to be tight and two a bunch are going to be weak. For the tightness foam rolling - or even better, using a peanut - to stretch them out is a good start. For the muscle side of things you want to slide past anyone that says pullups / rows to strengthen your back is good as those big muscles fatigue really easily. You don't want to have to rely on that to keep you upright as it won't work long term. One simple thing you can do is foam roll / peanut for a while then sit against a wall with your hips / lower back flush against the wall and then try get your head back to the wall without tilting it back. So you're aiming to push your chin back and sit up taller rather than just looking up. Sit there holding that for as long as you can - we're talking 5m+. This should help get the body used to using the correct muscles to hold you upright. Also, stop doing crunch exercises. Tight core muscles will pull you into the rounded neck position again. Do things like planks or pallof presses for your core work. Maybe throw in some yoga style updog / downdog stretches into your day. This is known as hindu pushups if you're not sure what I mean there. Here's a couple of videos that explain a bit about what is going on and give you some other exercises. I've only just skimmed through them but they seem pretty decent and cover stuff other than the little bit I talked about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLOryGxlssI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POARdLtqQXA

So there’s really nothing different happening on the second shot, your immune system just needs the second expose to solidify its response. So it's kind of like hello.jpg The first time you are exposed it's a shock to the system but as you get more exposure the shock lessens until your body becomes familiar enough that seeing it is just like a visit from an old friend.

If you can walk at that pace and talk it doesn't matter what your heart rate is, you're fine. Heart rates are insanely individual specific and how hard it feels like you're working is a much better guide than what ever number your watch shows. So in short don't worry about it unless it feels like you're having a heart attack.

It's very difficult to actually find out where to look for this kind of thing because Facebook changes stuff all the time and rolls the changes out to different groups of people so you can never be sure that what you're seeing is the same as what anyone else is seeing and something that's broken for you might be working for other people. And any instructions you find are likely to be out of date or specific to some version of the site/app that you don't have access to. Don't forget the fact that all the settings might be fine but fb are using the account for some A/B testing and that there is nothing you can do to fix it.

Endymion FRS MK1 posted:I've concluded that I'm out of shape (5'10 190lbs), and decided in addition to watching my diet, I should exercise. I just decided to start some cardio by jogging up and down the two flights of stairs in my house. After 10 minutes I was definitely feeling out of breath and very tired. Is this a warning sign of anything? Or is it simply me being out of shape and needing to train more? The YLLS thread is great but it is fairly focused on picking up heavy things repeatedly and putting them back down again. If you're interested in cardio and want to carry on running "Couch to 5k" stuff is the way to go. Running is easy to overdo when you're not trained for it and c25k is one of the best ways to get going. You can get c25k apps for your phone. There is an official one but they're all basically the same. There is also a running thread in YLLS which is strange because no one gives a poo poo about running. In fact the thread title hasn't been updated in nearly a decade they care that little. As a general rule when running - if you're not specifically doing sprint work where you're trying to run until you throw up - you want to go at a pace where you can hold a conversation with someone. All out or hardly sweating are the two best speeds to go at. Speeds in between have you working harder than your body can easily sustain for less gains than the effort requires. So you'll need more recovery time or you'll hurt yourself. This is a VERY hard lesson for a lot of people to grasp as running faster feels awesome. If you go the bike route for cardio you don't need to worry about taking it as easy as you do with running. The problem with riding is more how comfortable you are in lycra and as you ride more you'll find that it starts to seem more appealing. Swimming is also a popular cardio choice but Mermaid Shelly doesn't post here any more so we lost our expert on the water.
