Also, somebody suggested whamming up a recent shows must watch list in the last page of the thread a few infamous British TV dickhead profiles so people don't think we'd be sincere about the death of Piers Morgan in anyway.

It looks horrible. As well as being stupid as you'll see on promos when it will say Channel One (Freeview channel 20, Sky channel 121, Virgin Media channel 119).

Oh god, awful Cereal adverts of the nineties flashbacks arrrrgh!

Did anybody watch Winnebago Man on BBC 4? It's surpirisingly good for a documentary based on on a Youtube video.

It was excellent, I'm glad it came to a lovely end too. I was hoping the people who were going to watch the video weren't fat spergy neckbeards and thankfully a majority weren't.

I loved that when I was a kid. Have to go check it out. This is the thing where the complete wanker who is agrophobic lives with the nerd and the hot chick yes? I mean it wasnt a classic but I thought it was rather amusing. Then again I would have been 14 or something.

I don't recall seeing any Agrophobic dude but an unfunny ginger looms large in my mind so I guess I caught the series on its last legs.

It sounds pretty appealing before it went bad, might rewatch it for proper judgement.

Jamie Oliver is an idiot. He is doing this out of his own free will and ego. Don't feel bad if he wimps out all over your screen. Enjoy it, like a fine wine and delicately assembled food item of your choice.

After watching Four Lions I got to say it one of my favourite recent Brit films next to Hot Fuzz and Sean of the Dead. I can't believe myself for thinking they might not do it but Chris Morris doesn't shy away from poo poo. The mans a genius. Alas poor Brother Crow for not blowing up those evil sex shops!

I've got a question myself too, I have World War 1 In Colour and I quite enjoy the DVD menu music which is non existent outside the actual DVD. Any way I could take the music from the menu straight from my DVD?

As an ex-squaddie that program confirmed everything people at my level think, although it was basically a rip of Lewis Page's book. Highly recommended watching if you're interested in the MOD and missed it earlier.

Caught a bit of it as my dad who is ex-RAF Infantry was watching it, I guess all the money for that new Aircraft Carrier we weren't suppose to share with France was sunk into all sorts useless bollocks.

Wasting money seems to have became a British Government institution.

My favourite example was comparing our hierarchy to that of the USMC, which is slightly larger than us. They have about 90 officers above the rank of brigadier, and we have over 400.

Yeah, Sharpe and Hornblower are pretty cool. I'm a major history buff. Still sort of hoping one day we'll get a British high production WW2 series.

Or at least another Hornblower episode. Before the bloke who plays him ages.
