DominoDancing posted:WILTY very much depends on the chemistry between Lee Mack and David Mitchell, so I don't think replacing one of them would work out in the long run, but I agree. Greg Davies was great. Lee Mack has no chemistry with any human. His side of the banter is so forced that anyone could do it. I mean I never really enjoyed him on WILTY, but it wasn't until Not Going Out that I realised how terrible he actually is.

Russell Brand was loving great tonight. The rest weren't all that funny, though Jack and Claudia had their moments. Warwick Davis may as well have not been there, and was once again dragged out so that someone could say 'we got Warwick Davis'.

I saw Whitehall's standup a few years back. The jokes themselves were fine, but his delivery was really off putting. He clearly wrote the entire set's structure out, memorized the entire thing and regurgitated it without stopping to breathe, think or interact. I walked away feeling like I'd just watched it on TV. I do quite like him overall though. The problem with Russell Howard is just how repetitive he is. Watch more than one of his stand up shows or a few panel appearances and you just hear the same jokes over and over. He seems to just sit there with a bank of them waiting to pop one out for an un-earned laugh. He never stopped coming off like a sixth former doing a talent show. stev fucked around with this message at 19:25 on Jan 6, 2015 |

I've only seen the first two seasons of Fresh Meat, but it was great. I had to stop watching it because it's ridiculously depressing to watch when you're not a student anymore. Even if Jack Whitehall is in his 40s.

Honestly better put together than you'd expect. That Ian oval office is one of the most depressingly bad actors there is though. And since none of the other cast knew, nothing will come from this 'revelation' for a long, long time. And now I can forget this poo poo exists again.

Claudes too much of a beast for that. I'll give him a shot before I assume he's be bad. I can see him staying silent for a whole episode, then tearing into everyone in the boardroom. Which could easily overshadow Sugar. Then again, Sugar is pretty much the worst thing in the show. I'd say replace him, but I can't think of any failed, bored businessmen that people think of as credible (for some reason).

I'd love to see an actual businessman take over Apprentice UK. The US can take Sugar and keep him. Also, I'd love to live in a world where Vicious is a good, watchable program. Whenever I catch some of it I feel like the majority of people involved are genuinely talented and want the show to be great, but it's covered in that sickly ITV sneer that's impossible to get over.
