I won an 8086k and I don't know what I want to do. About 6 months ago I built a 1600x and paired it with a 1070. I've got a 60hz monitor.

I'm thinking either: buy a new motherboard, and enjoy some moderately improved performance OR

Sell it and buy a 144hz G-Sync monitor.

What should I do?

I considered that, but then I'd just turn around and sell the threadripper. Also, AMD are only doing this for the first 40 customers.
