My uncle lives in California...next time I visit during college break I'll ask if we can drive by California city. It sounds interesting to see. Edit: Does Google maps give anyone sort of strange sensation sometimes? Just the feeling you're seeing the entire human race, wandering around the Earth, and there's these huge patches of just emptiness between our big cities. It's a bit disconcerting to me, especially when I see how big and vast the emptiness is in, say, the ocean. It's a big world... The reality just occurred to me that someone had to put all these images together. Which means Google actually has ALL the data of every country's military installations and "secure" private areas. Several people, in fact, probably have that data. I'm somewhat surprised Google was allowed to have all of this and display it all freely.

Weird, this seems like the sort of thing they'd want to have blurred out and DEFINITELY not labelled. HEY HERE'S OUR NONVITAL PARTS. Also, it also seems vaguely risky to have it in your map search cache in this day and age...

Wouldn't it suck if it really WAS a secret government military base that's worth a few trillion research dollars...and now they have to scrap the whole drat thing because some google mapspergers happened to find the one place they thought they could hide it?
