XB271HU's are like 20% more here (for no reason that I can discern). Viewsonics are just not distributed widely enough. Nobody makes something similar with HDR yet eh?

It would be hard to go wrong with a PG279Q. I have one and it's great. Similar displays with HDR and G-Sync seem as though they'll be twice as expensive.

Acer's XB273K is a 4K, wide-gamut IPS display with a 144-Hz refresh rate and DisplayHDR 400 certification (basically the VESA "breathe on a mirror" test for a decent display, not real HDR). It's still $1300.
