I just got a 3080 ordered, so now it's time to move on my build. I'm looking for a 34"-40" ultrawide for 144hz and 1440p gaming (primarily iRacing, but general desktop use as well). Is this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CzrmP6/lg-34gk950f-b-340-3440x1440-144-hz-monitor-34gk950f-b (LG 34GK950F-B 34.0" 3440x1440 144 Hz Monitor) overkill, best, worst? Are there comparable/better options? I've been following the thread for the last two months or so, so get the feeling IPS would be worth it, but don't want to be doing something needless, either.
