So I was watching Animal House the other day, and it is, of course, the source of the infamous Zero. Point. Zero line. I was wondering, did they just happen to have that line isolated before hand, and use it to antagonize ETM? Or is that something that came up on the fly that they were able to isolate, or whatever it is that they do to get sound bites?

Artie had some movie speeches memorized, and periodically did them on the air as a bit. I don't recall if he had previously done that specific scene, but had defintely done parts of Animal House before. At some point Fred pulled a bunch of clips from a few different movies so he would be ready for Artie. And boy, was he ready on that day.

They may have known about the ticket sales at the previous day's afternoon writing meeting. Would have been a good excuse to pull the clip in advance even if they didn't know that Artie would unload the way he did.

Doesn’t the prophet system have keyword search and like, a billion clips in it that he can then put onto a main screen like an mpc?

Telling Howard that Artie was on drugs is like trying to tell your dad why Trump is incompetent. Guest: "Howard. I am an addict and I know Artie needs rehab" *spend five minutes listing all the signs* Dr. Drew: "Howard I am an addictions specialist and Artie needs rehab". Artie: You're all stupid. gently caress you I'm not on drugs! *rants angrily for 20 minutes then passes out after commercial break* Howard: "I don't know....he said he's not doing drugs so I believe him"

Starting off today with 45 minutes of Ham Hands Bill, best show in weeks. He has also been hinting at "getting political" today, I'm really hoping he goes after Trumps horrible sons.

Despite how insane or annoying he could be, the show is noticeably worse without Brent. All of his shenanigans made for great radio. If you gave me a choice I would rather watch/listen to Brent's Twitch train-wreck than the Stern show right now.Squashy Nipples posted:He has also been hinting at "getting political" today, I'm really hoping he goes after Trumps horrible sons. It may breathe some life into him and the show. I want to see the old Stern start to crack thru and him not hold back at all on those idiots (all out war). That said Trump and his sons are both easy targets. If they weren't born into money they would be the ones hanging out at Tampa swinger parties. Classless trash.

The last rumor I read about Artie right around the time the world feel apart was that his sponsor passed away suddenly and he was taking it hard. I hope he’s still clean but it’s got to be hard for addicts in general right now who can’t attend meetings. I’d like someone to try to explain to Artie what Zoom is.
