Not only that, but he's only good when he has some real drama going on. With Fratto, at least he could talk about more things than himself.

Let's not look at the past with rose-colored glasses. Johnny Fratto was really loving terrible and boring, and ETM was at his absolute best before Fratto started bogging down all his phone calls with stories about his stupid kids and making up lovely contrived bits.

That said, I will never not laugh at "You know what to do...you know what to do" and 0.0, but I still pretty much hate Johnny Fratto. ETM and Artie were a match made in heaven.

He can't function with a normal woman. He couldn't have a girlfriend, like, someone he lives with and goes grocery shopping with and lies in bed with and talks. His ability with women begins and ends at dealing with professionals who are experts at dealing with broken men like him. I used to bounce at a strip club in college, and there were just loads of JDs, and a few of the girls were virtuosos at handling them.

If not for the fact that JD is totally broken in all the ways you outlined above, I'd totally date him, fat and all. The funny thing is that even if I wanted to, I probably couldn't "get" him because he's so obsessed with stripper/porn star types.

I'm significantly less perturbed about her abortions because they're HER abortions and it's not like her abortion is going to leap out and kill some unsuspecting bystander. Drunk driving and driving under the influence hurts people that have nothing to her, and that bothers me.

And seriously, "Someone should have had her fixed?" I have to assume that's just a really unfunny joke. She's not an animal, she's a person with some serious problems, abortions being the least of them really.

If anything, the video makes the moment even MORE ambiguous. On one hand, it looks like Beth told her to gently caress off and then put on a Hollywood smile while the lady silently stewed in embarrassment. On the other, it looks like maybe the other lady only thought Beth was angry at her and reacted really awkwardly to perceived anger that wasn't even there.

I feel like I've thought too much about this. Either way, I wouldn't form my whole opinion on Beth around this one thing. That woman could be Sal in disguise for all we know.
