Something thats really annoying me listening to RadioIO so far is the The Car Store commercial(s). It's almost a direct rip off of a track from Royal Space Force OST.

Perhaps SiriusXM was right, I wouldn't pick up the phone and call Tom Bean either.

I'm wondering if they even use caching to unload the db calls and CDN delivery of the the heavy content/images.

Any hotlinks (images hosted on those sites) that were posted to other forums such as SFN caused warnings also. RadioIO was unaffected as their servers are managed/hosted by a different company.

It would be pretty amazing to have Sal sit in (for a bit) if Robin leaves. I can picture the bit of them dressing Sal up in drag/blackface and doing his impression of Robin while Howard rips him/her to shreds. Quite possibly the best bit for a long time, and therapeutic for the show.

For anyone who's curious radio IO put out their 10-Q filing today. Some highlights of the madness.quote:During the quarter ended March 31, 2011 and 2010, the Company incurred net losses of approximately $248,000 and $232,000, respectively, while cash provided (used) by operations was approximately $463,000 and ($133,000). The Company has not attained a level of revenues sufficient to support recurring expenses. They have increased sales %61 in Q1 but somehow loosing 7% more per the 2010 quarter, of course the fans couldn't stop the stock from totally tanking today almost loosing 50% of its value.

There's a great image floating around an investor forum. Thats the subscriber only channel with a max of 330 concurrent listeners in the past month from ONE server. Big news from the BTLS world today as they announced all the content would be going free for all. The early enlisters and subscribers have access to download content but that's the only feature for paying. I guess they found it too costly to "secure" their streams and decided their business model wasn't working. Last stab at gaining advertisers and trying to stay afloat. The pool of the remaining fans are going to be burnt by this if they don't get a refund from the non existent IWDM cash flow.

The BTLS forum on SFN was shut down over the fallout this week. In less then a month of trolling Bubba via twitter and his blog ludlow's totally dismantled Bubba. The whole saga is amazing, you can read ludlow's site at http://realbubba.wordpress.com/ to see the threatening stalking that Bubba is worried about and went to the cops about.

Hands down the N&A show is the best thing on at the moment. The 2/2/2012 show where the Jim Bean girls showed up and Nick/Artie's vitriol had me cringing of how evil they could be when united.

I had always held out a little hope that Bubba would get it back on track and start doing a show like he did back then. But it's now clear that that show is dead and is never coming back. 25 went out in a blaze of glory because he said "F U" deadpan serious to Bubba on air (IO) then was never heard from again. When Bubba quit Sirius it was a slow downhill from there, after Spice left the show it's been a noticeable decline. Read a news story, short discussion, followed by old bits somewhat relevant. That's what the show has been reduced to.
