I guess we're forgetting when she took over HRC's twitter during the campaign as a really pathetic way of trying to appeal to millennials? Milo is a slimeball, but he's right about that One Thing. Edit: "Party of Lena Dunham" is actually pretty apt for the neo-liberal centrist Democrats. Out of touch, and in power due to nepotism. Trump is literally an existential threat, due to his utter lack of ability, judgement, or concern. He is a future extinction event. Pence is just a very very hateful republican. Pence/Ryan is as bad as Trump/Bannon. Possibly worse because they understand how the govt works.

Bannon is an evil slime ball but he wants to dismantle the machine of which Pence comes from. 2. Trump got about as many votes as Mitt Romney. He didn't add anything to the process. His campaign just won electoral votes where Hillarys campaign stupidly ignored. Republicans would be Just Fine without MAGA support because they've built their party from the local level up. 3. I have serious doubts a potential WW3 breaking out will be Trumps doing. The way trade and economies work nowadays, a global war would not go well. My main worry is Syria, which who the duck knows what's going to happen there. So maybe stop with the histrionics there.

Adam Curtis did a pretty good documentary recently called Hypernormalisation. It's kind of sprawling and kind of loses focus on parts but the part on Putin and Syria and the guy who helps Putin orchestrate things (I forgot his name) was fascinating. Putin doesn't really scare me (he makes me scared for his political opponents and the people inside of Russia) but some of the people around him are some scary motherfuckers. Much like Trump. The Adam Curtis interview on Chapo Trap House put the documentary in focus a bit. I also loved the doc he did in 00s about the rise of radical Islam and the neoconservatives in America. I think it was called The Power of Nightmares. He's good.
