This post is probably just a shot in the dark but does anyone happen to have any advice or experience with getting an Allstate (or any insurance company I guess) to reconsider a denied claim for a chair? I bought an Alera Elusion and while putting it together it slipped from the surface I had it on and the backrest lever snapped off in the fall. If it was any of the other levers I probably could live with it but with this one I can't lock the backrest so it doesn't actually do any good as a desk chair. In retrospect mentioning that the accident happened during assembly was probably the magic phrase for them to deny real quick. I dunno if calling would do any good or if there's any other magic phrases to avoid or include. Dealing with insurance feels like going to court without a lawyer sometimes
