I couldn't find the word "static" anywhere on the action section of the userguide nor could I find any mention of it in the action section of the FAQ. It's not looking good, friend...

Strange... I've always had really good luck with locations. Have you tried staring from scratch with the location being the only context? I suppose that's what you're doing now... but starting from nothing is always step one.

Also, when you set up your location, did you use the "fetch location" option to be sure that Tasker would be looking at your current location?
