Most of the time in wrestling what goes on in the ring is predetermined. For the most part wrestlers know its in their interests to cooperate to make money and protect each other in the ring. There are times however when something goes wrong, someone decides to not play his role or two guys who just plain can't stand each other get in the same ring. Then all bets are off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lXAGZtMxU8 In 1977 wrestling nobody The Great Antonio decided to start no selling his opponents attack. His mistake was to do so against Antonio Inoki. This proved unwise.

Its rumoured that CZW are considering bringing the Portal back in as a direct result of the videos success. During the Monday Night Wars, BBC documentary maker Louis Theroux spent several weeks in the company of WCW and indy wrestlers. The documentary he put out was mind blowing when I saw it as a school kid, and still really holds up entertainment wise today. I've always hated Sgt Craig Pitman as a result of this. Mr. Carlisle posted:Who needs wrestlers getting in the way of the superstars who could be putting on entertainments? I have some dumb stories already about this trainwreck of a promotion. Put simply record executives shouldn't be promoting wrestling events. If you've been watching their videos, one of their earliest featured a great deal of footage of R-Truth in what I believe was Pro Pain Wrestling. When that video was put together one of the execs involved expressed his opinion that the UWF should see if they would be able to get him on their roster. Someone tried to explain to him how the WWE wouldn't let one of their talents go onto another companys PPV. I was told today that the same exec has been going around claiming that the WWE's decision to put R-Truth in the main event of their PPV is directly linked to the interest he displayed.
