we bleed red posted:That would be Flashback, sequel to Another World wikipedia posted:The 1992 game Flashback, which is also from Delphine, is often mistaken as a sequel to Another World because of similar gameplay and graphics. It has nothing to do with Another World, except for the said graphics and gameplay. It was also made without the involvement of Chahi. Flashback does seem to make a few direct references to Another World, including the prominent use of personal force fields in combat, a nearly identical end text in the ending cutscene, and an almost exact motion recreation of the gun pickup cutscene. Sorry.

I used one of the black marks on the ground to keep the motion consistant. There's one there that's a least reasonably consistant. Still a pretty evil shot, though.

Great thread. Though I also hate these kinds of threads because I inevitably have ideas that I want to implement, but I suck at image editing and am especially bad with animated gifs. So then I spend 5 hours on something and end up with crap. Which is exactly what I'm in the middle of doing now instead of sleeping. It's not even good, but I'm too far in to just give up now. I think I'd better just put it down and take a look at it tomorrow. edit: Nerd Of Prey posted:Dude, that would be amazing... but goddamn would it take a lot of work.
