That would be Flashback, sequel to Another World. I don't know how the gently caress I just figured that out in less than a minute.

Flashback isn't a sequel to another world.

The 1992 game Flashback, which is also from Delphine, is often mistaken as a sequel to Another World because of similar gameplay and graphics. It has nothing to do with Another World, except for the said graphics and gameplay. It was also made without the involvement of Chahi. Flashback does seem to make a few direct references to Another World, including the prominent use of personal force fields in combat, a nearly identical end text in the ending cutscene, and an almost exact motion recreation of the gun pickup cutscene.

Because in a thread full of wantonly embarrassing gif's and even simulated death, you wanted to see that play through. You never know...he may have scored on a breakaway had he not been plowed over by a rogue turtle shell...

I used one of the black marks on the ground to keep the motion consistant. There's one there that's a least reasonably consistant. Still a pretty evil shot, though.

Dude, that would be amazing... but goddamn would it take a lot of work. He doesn't enter the frame clean, so it would take some serious rearranging. I'm gonna call "not it" but if anybody else wants to try, go for it!

And yeah, I used that black mark too, but with him rolling toward camera it got pretty funky.

What about you, thread?
You got any tricks?
Great thread. Though I also hate these kinds of threads because I inevitably have ideas that I want to implement, but I suck at image editing and am especially bad with animated gifs. So then I spend 5 hours on something and end up with crap. Which is exactly what I'm in the middle of doing now instead of sleeping. It's not even good, but I'm too far in to just give up now. I think I'd better just put it down and take a look at it tomorrow.

Someone could just cut out the wall and make it an infinite sea of grass upon which Diouf is trapped in an eternal hell.
