Condit opened up as a small underdog (+100ish) against Hendricks, which doesn't seem right to me. Braver people than myself, please bet it

You should show off to some MMA journalism sites and get some e-fame. Lots of places wrote an article on it the last time that happened ($200 on a 12 fight parlay led to like $50k+)

2 fat 4 my lambo posted:anyone betting on coenen against cyborg? i haven't seen either of their recent fights, but she's +500 and has put on muscle since their last match, while cyborg's looking a bit leaner (probably due to getting blood-tested and/or dieting to eventually make 135) I put 10 on that just now. Neato. I also put 10 on Ellenberger vs Rory and 20 on Weidman in the rematch

Unrelated to the card at hand but a friend of mine works at a bar that Anthony Johnson frequents in Florida and he let slip that Rashad's camp is going terribly so far, with a bunch of different dudes telling him different things and he's worried it won't be enough against Chael. Blackzilians, y'all... Although I probably wouldn't bet on that fight regardless.

I want to thank this thread for dissuading me of that thought with such hilarious evidence. I just bet on Weidman both times against Silva. That ship has sailed though...

Lone Goat posted:Is there anywhere that logs the odds for fights? I'm looking for the history of the "official" fight odds that UFC shows on the fighters' graphic (that shows name, weight, "fighting out of", etc). Not sure about the "official" odds but http://bestfightodds.com/archive has a pretty good archive.

On the other hand, if Shields mildly kickboxes Lombard away for 3 rounds much like Boetsch did, I would be very happy.

masato tatanka posted:Maybe !! Barao has never been taken down but Dillashaw is a div 1 wrestler. I doubt Barao will even go for the takedown, Wineland was able to stuff him pretty handily. That's because Wineland was able to confuse him on the feet momentarily enough to persuade him to go for the lovely takedown. Although yeah I don't think Barao will be attempting to take Dillashaw down.

I put 5 on Matt Brown. Also put 30 on Poirier (he's an underdog now after opening as a favorite)

Oh also TJ Dillashaw is like -125 or something for the rematch so I put a few bucks on that as well.

Intel&Sebastian posted:There's really not a lot of situations where I would bet on Matt Brown. If someone is capable and willing to stifle him either on the feet or on the ground, and aren't prone to giving that up and swinging, he's very much capable of losing. Love him and his fights but he will never get by people on his level who aren't afraid to eat a bad fight. The Mike Swick-Erick Silva era of Matt Brown beatings were probably the best time to bet on him. Not sure if he'll ever get more favorable matchups of that nature again (or decent underdog odds) since he's cracked the top 5 of the WW division.
