I just started listening to the retro reviews and they've been hilarious. Went back to the start of the year and listened to the current one. It's fun because I have all the Nitros from 97-2000 and can go watch some of the stuff they're talking about. I'm glad they love the Goldberg squashes as much as I do. They're almost always the best part of the show. Also I loved when they turned the corner on Jericho. 98 Jericho still holds up in 2017 because he's such a great dumb heel.

Jericho was awesome during that time. Just oozing charisma, but since it was WCW, of course his hard work wasn't rewarded with a higher spot on the card. I enjoyed Hogan's heel promos during that time.

At the end of the latest Dragon King Karl History of Wrestling podcast, he plays a loving amazing promo by Jake the Snake Roberts on Hulk Hogan. Does anybody know what show it was advertising for, I'm hoping it'll be on the Network somewhere.

Lid posted:can we just safely say that everything after 1998 when Nash beat Goldberg is a blur? No, because the Fingerpoke of Doom was 2 weeks after that but Awesome's first WCW appearance was to run in as part of the New Blood during the reboot Nitro where RUsso and BIschoff returned on a side note, good job wikipedia vandal/editor quote:At one point, Awesome battled Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J in a Handicap match. At the conclusion of the match, Mike Awesome-Bombed Shaggy 2 Dope onto the roof of the bus. However, the slippery metal surface gave yield to Dope's lithe, supple frame and he fell tragically to the concrete below.
