The movie appears highly manufactured to incite protests and the protests were used as a diversion in the deadly attack. Whether they were connected concretely remains to be seen but there's way too much deception and convenient opportunities surrounding both incidents to dismiss the entire series of events as a huge series of coincidences. It's just not probable that so many factors would play out this way in favor a scenario like this.

There's a much more likely scenario that someone or some group has been planning and working both sides here. To pretend these things just happen by accident and luck is to somewhat naively ignore all the evidence and pre-existing history saying the exact opposite.

Just on a basic level I think it's the more likely scenario because there's way too much evidence of a conscious and concerted effort to cloak the production in bullshit and false trails. The odds that an effort that clearly designed to hide the creators would just accidentally become the fulcrum in the killing of a U.S. Ambassador along with 3 other diplomats get even slimmer.
