I'm a huge fan of Jim Thirwell, so I figure I should check out Raymond Watts stuff since its in the same vein. Whats the best Pig album to start with?

Yeah I totally dig this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAkQUeJ7eJs but I'll be damned if it doesn't sound a lot like Wiseblood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCYPvERaxZw

I just want to take a moment to declare how loving insanely awesome J.G. Thirwell is. Some fan made this diy video back in the 90's with a couple vcrs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OCSLzIGkSk

mennoknight posted:JG Thirlwell is a golden god. Water Torture, Satan Place, Today I Started Slogging...it’s all so good and nothing and no one has ever sounded like that. I'm very fortunate to have Hole on vinyl . Best of all I only paid like 8 bucks for it back in 2007.

Baron Von Ghoulosh posted:I've always adored Killing Joke's track Age of Greed from the Extremities, Dirt and Various Repressed Emotions album in '90. I first heard it on a industrial compilation that I picked up because it included Ministry, Godflesh, Die Krupps and few other notables. Makes me wish there was an album of the whole show out there somewhere. Strangely enough modern Killing Joke is angrier and heavier than ever, and actually pretty good.

david_a posted:What are some stand out live industrial releases, anyway? I realized that I have somehow have four of them: NIN - And All That Could Have Been, Ministry - Sphinctour, Ministry - Necronomicon, and Skinny Puppy - Doomsday. Revco's You Goddamn Son of a Bitch Live is a gem. Not exactly industrial, but Big Black's Pigpile is also loving awesome. Beard Dandruff fucked around with this message at 01:49 on May 14, 2018 |

Its obvious that Death in Rome is the only good neo folk band.

I only saw them once during the mythmaker tour and the set list consisted mostly of newer tracks, so I'm actually glad they're playing more of their older mainstay material.

Just got back from the Charlotte skinny puppy show. Jesus loving christ it blew the mythmaker tour out of the water. Plus for whatever reason it only cost me around 60 bucks including parking. To think that I almost wimped out and didn't go.
