That Melvins 1983 album doesn’t sound great so far. I just wish they would get back together with the Big Business guys again, but I don’t hold out much hope. The Bride Screamed Murder was their last one that I loved and that was 10 years ago now.

Y’all don’t sleep on this, it’s pretty good. Dudes voice always sounds like Ian Anderson with the highs turned down on his mic. Also, there is some Rick Wakeman style keys just appearing out of nowhere in there, fun bonus.

I just discovered Here Lies Man and they fuckin slap. It’s a bunch of the dudes from Antibalas, which you can hear in the percussion especially. If you like Goat or African psychedelic stuff, this might be your kind of thing.

I'm so conflicted about Iron Man. It can be so campy and is so overplayed but also has some real bitchin' parts that I almost never hear because I can't make it past the first "thud thud thud WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUHHHHHHHHHHHH"
