Thanks, and thanks to alla y'all! I can hear the Tool, as well as lots of other influences (Elder, Neurosis, etc). It was cool to be a part of the album process with those guys, they had a pretty specific idea about the concept of the album and they wanted it infused with the surreal/psychedelic linework I do. Almost all my work starts as traditional pen and ink on bristol (I use a 102 dipping crowquill with Black Magic ink), then I scan it in and color it with a Wacom tablet and Photoshop.

The album art is dope as gently caress. Have any other pieces up anywhere? The album itself is also really good.

Oh poo poo. I was meaning to buy tickets to that but looks like they added a Houston date as well. Score!

Bonus. It's a two day festival.

Sorry for the shameless self-promotion (not really lol), but I was mentioned in this "best album art of 2017" list for my DVNE cover: http://www.heavyblogisheavy.com/2017/12/28/2017-review-year-album-art/

Obviously the Beksinski-inspired Bell Witch cover was first, but it's cool to be mentioned :)

Congrats, that is awesome! On a slightly related note, I got an email this morning saying you can buy it on a tshirt now!

Hey, I was there. There were a lot of un-metal guys. :v: I was in a Nile shirt in the pit all night. Dopesmoker really made poo poo go wild, it was a nice change after everyone around me made fun of the first two bands.

Me too! I was dead center when the pit broke out and had to back peddle outta that poo poo. Getting too old. I also heard a few people talking poo poo about Weather Warlock but I thought it was pretty interesting. Maybe not the best opener for sleep but still pretty cool.

I grew up around loud rear end cars so loud concerts didn't even really register with me as being loud until my mid 20s when I realized I couldn't sleep at night anymore without some loud noise to drown out the constant buzzing in my head. I carry my plugs on my keychain now and even use them in just a busy bar, helps me actually hear the person I'm talking to.

When I saw sleep back in December I recall them selling some sleep branded earplugs at the merch table and I thought that was kinda cool.

100% pure peruvian stoner doom. We're getting ready for an European tour in mid 2020 so I'm looking forward to meet some doom goons over there. Have you folks heard other south american acts? There are some pretty classic bands, and new bands making cool sludgy, trippy poo poo around here.

I picked this up as soon as bandcamp notified me a few weeks ago. Extremely my poo poo. Congrats on the tour!
