keratas posted:On the way to see kyuss (lives) at the moment. So pumped. Will report back. Holy poo poo, I had no idea this was a thing. I got in to Kyuss about 5-6 years ago and was always bummed that I wouldn't get a chance to see them. Luckily I saw your post, and then that they're playing in Wellington on Sunday. Best way to spend $75 around.

Dyna Soar posted:New YOB rules. See, I keep hearing this. Where can I find the album, I'm in sunny ole NZ so I don't think record store down here will have it. Can't find a Bandcamp, just a MySpace that has some tracks glued to it.

Juaguocio posted:I just realized that I haven't plugged my favourite local sludge band in this new thread. What better time than now, since I just picked up their new EP to complete my collection of all their vinyl? Bought 'em both, haven't listened to them yet though. Even without hearing, I want those shiny shiny vinyls...

Seems Scott Kelly (of Neurosis) and John Baizley (of Baroness) are doing some kind of joint acoustic tour? I'll be checking it out on Friday, but has anyone heard of this, or been to the gig?

Orbital Sapling posted:That sounds so awesome. John Baizley and Scott Kelly are both loving cool, incredibly talented people. I'm super pumped. This is in New Zealand, by the by. So anyone in Auckland, the gig is tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday is in Wellington. It's the start of a NZ/Australia tour, I believe.
