Saw SubRosa Tuesday night. They were really good, so glad I got to see them. They don't come around here too often, unfortunately (it was only their second time in Boston), but they seem to pop into NYC now and again, which isn't so far away. Looking forward to seeing them again.

I was there too. They were really good

They deserve all exposure they can get, amazing band.

I mean they go from demented sludgey blues rock to godflesh-esque dirge to dissonant noise rock ballads. The fact that they enjoyed even a sliver of success outside of the heavy underground pre-internet is a testament to how great they are. Perfect band, really.

Which album should I start with?

Saw Elder last night and they killed it. Crowd went kinda wacky, which I wasn't expecting. Summoner also rocked and should be seen if possible.

Same. Crowd seemed like there were some people who don't really ever go out to shows and are bad at partying.

I'll get you guys next time. Boris was maybe the loudest band I've seen in a long time. Baltimore has a cool aquarium. Halloween bimbos and metalheads culture mosh was funny but the DoD guys said they will do a different weekend next time. Warning is amazing and I'll be seeing them with Morne on Halloween. Namaste and hail satan and all that.

Just saw Warning's last show of the tour and I can't stress enough how drat good they are. The guy who put out their breakout album did it illegally without paying them anything so I was able to buy it directly from them as well as a couple shirts and that sweet poster. Also Morne owns.
